The end of 2016, market for the GualapackGroup the 5th anniversary of the start of the production in its Romanian plant. Gualapack Nadab is the first facility built by the GualapackGroup abroad, as part of the Italian Group’s international development strategy, set off in 2010. Nadab, a small Romanian town, close to Timisoara and a few hours from the Hungarian/Romanian border has been chosen for its optimal location at the heart of Central/Oriental Europe, the quality of the people trained in the nearby Timisoara colleges and the similarities between the Romanian and Italian cultures. In less than 5 years, Gualapack Nadab has become a key site of the GualapackGroup development process, producing all ranges of Stand Up Pouches and Spouted Pouches with more than 200 employees at the end of 2016. Gualapack Nadab plant is certified ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18001 and BRC Top issue 5 and supplies some of the major European brands in spouted pouches for Fruit snacking, Dairy, Condiments, Beverages and Baby Food.
